Frequently Asked Questions
[01] What is Quillity?
Quillity is a private journaling app for iPhone by gray-flow. It supports text, photo, video, and audio entries across multiple journals, with mood tracking, a Year in Pixels view, habits and check-ins, link boards, a reading tracker, Home Screen widgets, Shortcuts, and iCloud sync — all in gray-flow's monospaced terminal aesthetic.
[02] When does Quillity launch?
Quillity is in active development and heading into App Store preparation. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment it's available.
[03] Is my journal private?
Yes. Entries are stored on your device and, if you enable sync, in your personal iCloud account. There is no gray-flow account, no ads, no third-party analytics, and no gray-flow servers that can read your journal. You can also lock the app behind Face ID.
[04] Does Quillity sync across devices?
Yes — Quillity syncs through your own iCloud account, so your journal follows your Apple ID without ever touching gray-flow servers. Local backups and full data export are also built in.
[05] How much will Quillity cost?
The core journaling experience will be free, with optional paid tiers for advanced features. Full pricing will be announced at launch — and early waitlist members will get launch perks.
[06] What platforms does Quillity support?
Quillity is built for iPhone first, with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities, Shortcuts, Spotlight search, and a share extension.
[07] How do I contact support or give feedback?
The community forum on this site is our contact and support channel — use it for bug reports, feature requests, and general questions.
[08] What is gray-flow?
gray-flow is an independent iOS studio building a family of apps with a shared terminal-inspired design language: monospaced typography, sharp geometry, high contrast, and a unified theming system across apps. Quillity is the first app to ship.
